We are a family-centered homeschool community in Columbia, South Carolina — built on love, learning, and the belief that every child deserves an education that truly fits them.
How It All Began
Ase Homeschool Co-op was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that families are stronger together. Fatima and Otha began their homeschool journey with their own children and quickly realized how much richer the experience could be when families came alongside one another — sharing knowledge, resources, and community.
What started as a small gathering of like-minded families has grown into a thriving co-op serving families across Columbia and the surrounding area. Every program, field trip, and academy we offer is rooted in the same vision that started it all — joyful, meaningful learning for every child.

Fatima is a dedicated homeschooling mother who is passionate about family-centered, interest-led learning. She enjoys creating engaging educational opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning while helping homeschool families build meaningful connections within their community.
Otha
Otha is a devoted homeschooling father who believes in hands-on learning, family involvement, and preparing children with practical life skills. He enjoys supporting educational experiences that encourage confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world learning.
